Parents

The PacificCard serves many purposes: identification, PacificCash, campus buildings and residence facility access, Baun Fitness Center access, entrance to athletic and other University events, and to obtain meals on and off campus.

There is no charge for the initial card. However, if lost, stolen or damaged there will be a minimal fee.

Your child (student) is required to obtain a student ID during registration/orientation week. Please direct them to do this at the PacificCard Office located behind Anderson Hall, directly South of McCaffrey Center. This card is known as the PacificCARD.

Your child will be able to make deposits online to their PacificCash debit account with MasterCard, Visa, Discover, Diners Club, American Express, JCB, ATM Debit Card and at the Kiosk located in the Library as well as at the Lair Kiosk. Funds will be immediately available for use. If YOU would like to deposit funds to an account on-line, do so by having your student send you a request from the site or select the "Add Cash Now" button and enter their student ID number.

Bookstore charges using the PacificCard are separate from the declining balance PacificCash and is available to financially cleared accounts for the first month of school and will appear directly on the student account. Parents wishing to add funds to the PacificCash account to be used at the bookstore may do so but need to advise the student to say "PacificCash" when making a purchase.

The monies in the PacificCash account are self managed. A balance is available upon each transaction at one of our many vendors. When you feel it is time to increase the fund, this can be done on-line or in the PacificCard Office.
