Each faculty and staff member at the University of the Pacific is required to obtain a photo ID badge as part of employment. During onboarding you may be taken to the PacificCard Office to have an ID badge issued. Please bring with you your 98xxxxxxx number to issue the badge.In Stockton we are located behind Anderson Hall, directly South from the McCaffrey Center. This card is known as the PacificCard.
The PacificCard serves many purposes: official University identification, campus building access, Baun Fitness Center access, discounts on entrance to athletic events, and PacificCash debit for the retail services of The Lair, The River Room, University Center Marketplace, The Grove Grocery Store, Mailroom, and Duplicating, as well as established off-site merchants in person and through Grubhub.
There is no charge for the initial card. However, if lost, stolen or damaged there will be a minimal fee.
The PacificCard has a self managed fund called PacificCash where you deposit funds into your account and use these funds at the campus retail services. The monies in the PacificCash account are owned by you. You will not receive a statement - however you may check your balance at anytime by using the "Manage Your Account" link on the website. When you feel it is time to increase the fund, this can be done on-line or in the PacificCard Office. You may also come to the PacificCard Office to check your balance.
Employee Meal Program (EMP) is for Pacific employees who shop or dine at Bon Appetit locations in Stockton. Using EMP you will receive a discount on your purchase. To use the program, all a Pacific employee will need to do is add PacificCash to their PacificCard(as explained above), then when purchasing products from Bon Appetit food service locations notify the cashier that you want to to use EMP, it is that easy!
The EMP can only be used by employees with a valid PacificCard ID and is not available using a department card.
