Montclair State University Terms and conditions The following terms and conditions shall govern the use and administration of Red Hawk Dollars issued to any member of the Montclair State University community (the Holder): Red Hawk Dollars are generally available immediately after deposit, although there may be network delays when Red Hawk Dollars are added through the Online Store. There is a minimum $20.00 deposit required for adding Red Hawk Dollars and a service charge of 2.75% of the purchased amount per transaction. No minimum balance is required. Montclair State University reserves the right to apply a maximum limit to the accumulated balance on any individual account on a case by case basis. No interest or other earnings will be paid or credited to the Holder. The Holder must present his or her MSU ID Card at the time of transaction in order to use the Red Hawk Dollar account. The MSU ID Card is non-transferable and the Holder is responsible for purchases made and debited to the MSU ID Card\Red Hawk Dollar account. If an MSU ID Card is lost or stolen, the Holder is responsible for all purchases made on the account. Lost or stolen MSU ID Cards should de-activate immediately to prevent unauthorized use by disabling the card at https://atriumconnect.atriumcampus.com/login.php?cid=222?wason=/statement.php or calling the ID Card Office during normal business hours. Disputes over improperly charged transactions must be resolved through the vendor. All other errors or problems should be submitted in writing to the Red Hawk Dollar Office. The Holder shall be responsible for any over drafts that may occur. All requests for refunds upon graduation, withdrawal from the University, or termination of employment must be received within ninety (90) days of graduation, withdrawal, or termination. Any funds left in the account longer than ninety (90) days are forfeited and become the property of the University. A Red Hawk Dollar Account may be closed only when the Holder ceases to be affiliated with Montclair State University. An account closure form must be submitted to close an account. At the time of account closure a $15.00 processing fee will be assessed to the account prior to calculating a refund. Students will have the refund posted as credit to the student University account. All University debts must be satisfied in order for a credit to be processed into a refund. Faculty and staff will have a check mailed to the address listed on the closure form. Please allow 2-4 weeks for processing. Montclair State University may modify the terms and conditions on fourteen (14) calendar days prior notice, during which time the Holder may terminate his/her account without incurring an administrative processing fee. If the holder does not close his/her account within that period, the Holder shall be bound by the new terms and conditions.
