Increase in reprint ID card price

January 19, 2024


Due to the increase in costs of supplies the reprint cost for ID's will be $20 beginning in Summer 2024.

Hawk$$ are funds deposited to your ID card that can be used for anything from books at the Campus Bookstore to meals at dining service locations and at several local businesses.

Your Hawk Dollars account is separate from the meal plan, and since Hawk Dollar sales are subject to the 8% NYS sales tax, any unused money (greater than $5) can be refunded to you at the end of the semester at your request. The minimum to open up a Hawk Dollar account is $25. Stop by the Campus Card office (PDH) to sign up or simply add here online with MC or Visa.

Having issues using your exchange meals on Grubhub? Here is how to fix


10/27/2023 Grubhub has been making some improvements to their app and this may cause some students the need to revalidate their New Paltz credentials. Don't worry it should be a quick and easy fix! To do- Go to the payment area in the app and remove your ID card. Then re add the ID. This should force the validation of your university credentials.     SPRING 2024 On Campus Meal Plan choices

  • The Carte Blanche Plan $2,715 per semester


  • The Carte Blanche Plan offers unlimited meal swipes at Peregrine Dining Hall. Come and go when you want, as often as you want and eat as much as you want. This plan also includes $400 **Dining Dollars per semester, 3 guest meals, and *50 meal exchanges for use in retail dining locations per semester.

    All students with less than 30 credits will be required to be on this plan.
    *Please note: Meal exchanges do not rollover from semester to semester and cannot be used at Starbucks.
    **Dining dollars can be used at any Sodexo location on campus.

  • The 105/60 Meal plan $2,715 per semester


  • This plan offers the student 105 meal swipes per semester into Peregrine Dining Hall, $1,000 **Dining Dollars and 3 guest meals per semester. To add flexibility, this plan includes 60 meal exchanges that can be used at our retail locations on campus.
    * If needed exchanges can be used at Peregrine Dining Hall.
    *Please note: Meal exchanges do not rollover from semester to semester and cannot be used at Starbucks.
    **Dining dollars can be used at any Sodexo location on campus.


  • The Flex 50 Meal plan $2,715 per semester


  • This new plan offers ultimate flexibility. The student will get $ 1,550 **Dining dollars. Plus, you will receive 50 meal exchanges which can be used at our retail locations, and 3 guest meals per semester.
    * If needed exchanges can be used at Peregrine Dining Hall.
    *Guest meals are for Peregrine dining hall use only
    *Please note: Meal exchanges do not rollover from semester to semester and cannot be used at Starbucks.
    **Dining dollars can be used at any Sodexo location on campus.

  • Commuter
  • Do you live off-campus but find yourself dining with us often? A commuter meal plan may be the best choice for you.
    Dining Dollars may be added in increments of $25 to suit your own personal needs. We'll even give you some free money!
    If you add $100, you get $10 free, and if you add $200, you get $25 free!
    Better yet, all purchases made with Dining Dollars are free of sales tax. That's a savings of 8% with each purchase!

Unused dining dollars from the Fall Semester will roll over to the Spring Semester provided there is a meal plan purchased for the Spring Semester.
Any unspent dining dollars at the end of the Spring semester will be forfeited.
