Q: Why is a Meal Membership the Best Value?
A: Whether you live on or off campus, meal memberships are by far the best value and most convenient way to obtain a meal while on campus. Meal Memberships are pre-paid at the beginning of each semester, keeping you from having to carry cash! With a meal membership, you are able to eat anywhere on campus at the most inexpensive price - as little as $3.58 per meal!

Q: What is a Meal Exchange?
A: Meal Exchanges allow students with a meal membership to purchase Value Combo Meals at any and all of the on-campus restaurants. Meal Exchange Meals may only be used by students with a meal membership, otherwise students must pay full retail price for every purchase they make.

Q: What is the difference between the Required Dining Club for Sophomore's and the new BeakerBUCKs account?
A: The Required Dining account is the minimum required dining charge for sophomore's and can only be used in the dining locations. BeakerBUCKs is the new optional all-in-one account and can be accepted at multiple locations across campus. Soph. students may opt out of the $500 required dining club and participate in one of the 4 meal plan options. All students are allowed and encouraged to participate in the new BeakerBUCKs account. Required students, freshman and sophomore, can have this in addition to their required meal/dining option.

Q: What do I do if I lose my EagleCard?
A: Notify the EagleCard Office ASAP so that a hold can be placed on your meal/dining account. Starting with the Fall '06 term, students can set up an account on "EagleCard ONLINE". From this site students will be able to put a hold on their lost/stolen EagleCard 24/7. As added protection against theft, a student will need to bring their found ID to the EagleCard Office for reactivation. This will stop anyone else from using it. Also contact U.S.Bank if your ID has been linked as an ATM card to your Eagle Checking Account. Look on line on the EagleCard News page to see if your ID number is listed. If it is listed your ID has been turned in to the EagleCard Office and can be picked up.

Q: How much is a new card?
A: Lost/stolen card replacement is $20. Replacement of a damaged card (with damaged card presented at time of purchase) is $10. These prices are for students, faculty and staff.

Q: When do I receive my EagleCard?
A: Incoming students (freshman and transfers) who have taken their photo at SOAR or in the EagleCard Office will receive their EagleCard ID's at the beginning of the first semester of enrollment. In the fall it will be the day of freshman move in at their assigned residence hall. All other students who are not living on campus will pick up their ID's at the EagleCard Office.
