Q: What is RU Express?

A: RU Express is the most convenient account at Rutgers. RU Express is a debit account on your RUID Card that can be used to make purchases all over campus and many locations off campus.

Q: How do I deposit money into RU Express?

A: You can make deposits Online at RU Express Online with a credit card or at the cashiers offices with cash or a check.

A: The minimum deposit is $10.00.

Q: Can I use RU Express between semesters and during the summer?

A: Yes! RU Express will now be accepted year-round and your account balance will carryover year to year.

Q: Where can I use my RU Express account?

Q: How do I get a refund of my RU Express?

A: Refunds will not be issued at the end of the spring semester. Refund requests of $25.00 or more from graduating students or students permanently leaving Rutgers University will only be accepted upon request. Proof of withdrawal or dismissal is required. Written request forms must be submitted to the RU Express/Board Plan Office, Records Hall, Room 102 College Avenue Campus. Click here for Terms and Conditions.
