Q: What are Razorbuck$?

A: A debit system that student, faculty and staff can add money to their U of A ID card.

Q: Where can Razorbuck$ be used?

Q: Where can I add money to my Razorbuck$ account?

A: *On line at http://razorbucks.uark.edu with Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express
* Campus Card Office, Arkansas Union 427 with cash, check, traveler's checks, or money order
* Razorbuck$ Deposit machines takes cash only (no change given) in:
Arkansas Union Living Room

Q: Is there a minimum or maximum deposit amount?

A: * Minimum - $5.00 for on line deposits and $1.00 at Razorbuck$ Deposit Machines
* Maximum - $2,600

Q: How can I check my balance?

A: A. Go to http://razorbucks.uark.edu
i. Set up a password to your account by clicking on Log In Here button in the upper left of the menu.
ii. Fill out the form.
iii. A password will be emailed to you.
iv. After your password is emailed to you, log in at http://razorbucks.uark.edu.

B. The balance is displayed after each transaction at the register.
C. At the Campus Card Office.
D. At all Razorbuck$ Deposit Machines.

Q: Why can't you tell me my balance over the phone?

A: This is a security policy protecting your privacy. Since we are not able to verify your identity over the phone, we will not give out that information.

Q: Can I get cash from my Razorbuck$ account?

A: No. It does not act like an ATM. Cash is never returned from Razorbuck$.

Q: Can I close my Razorbuck$ account?

A: Yes
There are 2 situations you can close the account:
* During the last week of class in the semester.
* If you are withdrawing from the University.

Q: How do I get the refund from my Razorbuck$ account?

A: Come to the Campus Card Office to fill out a refund request.
* If you made the deposit by credit card, a refund will be made to the credit card.
* If you made the deposit by check or cash, a check will be mailed to the account holder from Student Account's Office.

Note: Any balance remaining in an account that has been closed will be applied against any debt that the Cardholder owes to The University of Arkansas. If all debts are paid in full, the Treasurer's Office will return any remaining balance to the Cardholder.

Q: What is the difference between Razorbuck$ and Dining Dollars?

A: Razorbuck$:
* Can be used at over 160 locations around campus including all dining and convenience store locations and look for Fayetteville merchants that take Razorbuck$.
* A full list of locations can be found at http://campuscardoffice.uark.edu and click on the "merchants" button.
* It rolls over each semester as long as the account is being active.
* Receive a 5% discount at Chartwells locations.

Dining Dollars:
* Is a part of your meal plan.
* Can only be used for food on campus.
* Restarts each semester that you sign up for a meal plan.
* Any balance left in the Flex Dollar account at the end of the semester is forfeited.

Q: Can I transfer the remaining balance from my Dining dollars in my meal plan to Razorbuck$?

A: No. Dining dollars are a part of the meal plan and can only be used for food.

Q: Can I find out the balance in someone else's account?

A: No. We will only give out account information to the person whose name is on the account.

Q: Are there any fees associated with a Razorbuck$ account?

A: There are no fees associated with deposits and purchases.

An Inactive Account Fee will be charged to accounts that remain inactive over a (12) twelve month period.
* Each May, following the end of the Spring semester, we will determine who has NOT used their account since May of the previous year.
* If an account has not been used in this time period, we will charge a $25 fee to the account.
* The inactive accounts will continue to be monitored and charged the $25 fee each month until the account balance is zero (0).
* The Campus Card Office will not refund this fee under any circumstances.

If your UAFCard is lost or stolen, the student, faculty, staff or affiliate is responsible for all unauthorized charges.
Please go to http://razorbucks.uark.edu to suspend your card immediately if your card has been lost or stolen.
