FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
FOOD DOLLARS
Food Dollars are non-discounted dollars that spend like cash in any dining location. They are meant to supplement spending over the $9.78 exchange rate. Food Dollars are tax-free and can be added to all meal plans. Food Dollars carry over from fall to spring semester, as long as the student purchases a meal plan for the spring semester. Food Dollars do not carryover beyond the academic year. Students needing to add food dollars can do so by going to ONE Campus, access the ONE Card/Meal Plan balance tile and then deposit to food dollars. Food dollars can be added in increments of $50.
What is an exchange rate?
The student exchange rate refers to the allotted value of a swipe in a retail location (any location outside Dalton Kitchen). One "meal" is equivalent to $9.78 to spend at any retail shop on campus.

Deactivate your card via the "Manage your account" web feature 24 hours a day. During normal business hours, contact the ONE Card Office to have it deactivated. After normal business hours, contact the RU Police Department to have it deactivated.
If you find your ID/ONE Card after you have had it deactivated, you can reactivate you card via "Manage your account" web feature in OneCampus 24 hours a day, or by presenting your card in person at the ONE Card office during regular business hours. ID Card vs. ONE Card
The Radford University ID Card that each student receives also serves as their ONE Card. Everything requiring a card at Radford University is done from ONE card. Each card comes with the ONE Card account already set to accept deposits into it. Once a deposit has been made it can be used at any merchant that accepts the ONE Card. Since the card carries a monetary value on it, all laws of the Commonwealth apply regarding theft or fraudulent use.
The card also contains any meal plan that a student may have and provides them access to use it as described in the meal plan section.
How much have I spent?
Students wishing to find out how much they have spent from any of their accounts may do so by accessing the "Manage Your Account" function, from our Homepage or through the student ONE Campus account under ONE Card/Meal Plan. For parents wishing to find out how much their student is spending and where, we ask that you obtain that information from your student. While we would like to provide this information to parents, the card is similar to a bank card and therefore, the records and balances are confidential. Your student may set you up with "guest access" from the "Manage My Account" through our Homepage or through the student ONE Campus account.page.
