Accounts and Plans Available
Food Account
The Food Account can be used at all the main campus' Dining Services locations, such as the Commons at Birch, Underground Cafe, Sky Ranch Grill, and the Garden Toss. In addition to the convenience of not having to deal with cash, Dining Services will cover your Mass Meals Tax, meaning you save 7.5% on all your food purchases when using your UMass Pass.
Balances on your Food Account roll over from term to term and year to year. There are no fees associated with your Food Account; however, unlike an ATM, Food Account funds are not available for cash withdrawal.
Note that this account is different from your Snack Allowance, which is included in all Meal Plans.
PrintLess Allotment
This displays the balance and reset transactions for your PrintLess Allotment. This balance may not be added to, if you exhaust your PrintLess Allotment, please add additional funds to your UMDollars account. For more information on PrintLess, please visit http://www.umassd.edu/cits/printless/
Snack Allowance
Your Snack Allowance is the term used for the funds you have automatically applied to your account when you sign up for a Meal Plan.
You may not deposit additional funds into this account (that is what the Food & UMDollars accounts are for), but you may track your purchase history and balance from this site.
It is important to note that any Snack Allowance funds you do not spend will be forfeited at the end of the academic year.
UMDollars
Your UMass Pass comes with a stored-value account called UMDollars. UMDollars is the convenient, cashless way to pay for your purchases on and off campus. To use it, simply deposit money into your UMDollars account and the balance will decline with each purchase you make.
Use it to eat at your favorite on campus dining locations, order food online with WebFood, work out in the Athletic Center, pay for library fees and health services. UMDollars are also readily accepted at some of North Dartmouth's most popular off-campus businesses (some even offer discounts to students who pay with their UMass Passes!). For more information on local merchants, as well as our rewards program for purchases, see www.UMassPass.com.
Balances on your UMDollars account roll over from term to term and year to year. There are no fees associated with UMDollars; however, unlike an ATM, UMDollars funds are not available for cash withdrawal.
